Enabling and Disabling Strategy Maps
Strategy Maps are similar to Dashboards, but they’re solely focused on showing your big-picture strategy. If your organization doesn't use the balanced scorecard methodology, however, you can disable Strategy Maps in Application Administration and just use Dashboards.
Configuring Initiative and Scorecard Item Names
Many organizations have names for their performance items that differ from the standard Spider Impact defaults. You can now configure these scorecard and initiative item names in Application administration. You can choose from popular pre-defined names like “Key Performance Area” and “Perspective”.
Or you can type whatever language you want. In this example we’re using the term “Grouping”.
Now when we create a scorecard item, it calls the object a Grouping.
Further Language Customizations
Every phrase in Spider Impact can be replaced with wording that you choose, including translating the entire app into another language. This requires maintaining your own customer message resource file. For assistance, please contact support@spiderstrategies.com.
