1. Launch the "Organization Hierarchy" display.
- Click on the name of the currently "selected" Organization at the upper left corner. This will launch the Organization hierarchy pane.
- If you have recently logged in and no organization selection has yet been made, simply click on one of the left side sections (ex: Scorecards) and the Organization hierarchy pane will display.
2. Click the "Edit" link at the bottom of the pane.
3. Select an Organization in the hierarchy. A pop-up dialog box will display at right.
4. Select "Delete" in the pop-up dialog box.
5. !!! Do not confirm yet. Review this organization's placement within the larger organization hierarchy. If there are any subordinate organizations nested beneath this organization within the hierarchy, those subordinate organizations - and all of their content - will also be deleted by this operation. If that is not what you want, click "Cancel" to abandon this operation. Take the following steps:
- Click "Done" at bottom of Organization Hierarchy pane. Then, click "Edit" again.
- Rearrange the Organizations in the hierarchy via drag-and-drop so that no organizations remain subordinate to the organization intended for deletion.
- Click "Done" at bottom of Organization Hierarchy pane. Then, click "Edit" again.
- Resume Step #3 above.
6. Once you are ready to finalize the deletion of the Organization (and any subordinate organizations) click "Delete" button within the delete confirmation dialogue box.
7. Click the "Done" button at the bottom of the pane to exit "Edit" mode.
If you do not have permissions to perform the above steps, an Administrator must assign your user account to a security group with "Modify Organization/Scorecard Structure" permission enabled.
